ANZ Hot Shots National Schools Partnership Program
North Perth Primary School is an ANZ Hots Shots National Schools Partnership Program (NSPP) school, we are in partnership with Tennis Central at Robertson Park Tennis Centre. As a NSPP school, we were given the opportunity to apply for Hot Shots Tennis racquets for each of our students in Pre-primary. I am pleased to announce that we were successful in receiving these racquets, which were handed to the students from Rooms 16, 20 and 21 today at our assembly.
I hope each pre-primary student enjoys using their racquet, and with a bit of practice, who knows, we may have our next Australian men’s or women’s champion here at North Perth Primary School.
Dockers Cup Carnival
On Friday 11 November 2016, 31 girls from Years 4, 5 & 6 participated in the All Girls Dockers Cup carnival. We were able to field three teams and competed against nine other teams, from seven schools. All our girls participated to the very best of their ability representing North Perth Primary School proudly, not only with their sporting ability, but with their sportsmanship and conduct throughout the day.
A big thank you goes out to our parent helpers, Sonia Hills, Mark Davies and Michelle Campbell, and to Miss Gillam for their help throughout the day.
