It’s been a lovely weekend with lots of our school community out getting involved in picking olives for the annual P&C Olive Oil making venture. 1381 kg of olives were collected over Saturday and Sunday, by the hard working volunteers, from olive trees all around North Perth and Perth.
On Monday the olives were taken up to York for pressing. The 1381kg of olives were pressed to make 170 litres of oil. This means approximately $9 000 in fundraising for the P&C after costs. A huge thank yo>u to all those that contributed to making this the most productive haul yet. Now let’s hope for another award for some great quality olive oil. Watch out for sales coming soon. You will need to be quick though.
