On Wednesday, August 9, the school councillors from both Semester 1 and 2 were invited to a special tour and lunch at Parliament House. The Member for Perth, John Carey was an excellent host, fielding a range of questions about politics, life in the Western Australian Parliament and of course his love of Star Wars and popular culture. The students even watched a lively session of question time from the public gallery. What an outstanding experience for our student leaders.
