NRL Visit – Dream Believe Achieve Presentation

Students from Room 14 and 15 were given a presentation from the NRL named Dream Believe Achieve. The presentation was delivered by Steve Meredith (NRL Respect Community Manager), Alan Tongue (Canberra Raiders Legend), and Ruan Sims (Jillaroos Captain). The Dream, Believe, Achieve presentation aimed to educate students about the importance of having a dream.

Alan and Ruan shared their own experiences with our students and delivered the key messages about the importance of having goals and aspirations. Alan spoke about his childhood, living on a farm outside Tamworth, and his journey in becoming an NRL player.  Ruan spoke passionately about her dreams as a little girl, her career as a fire fighter, and her journey towards becoming a Jillaroo, a captain and world champion.

We give a big thank you to Steve Meredith, Alan Tongue, and Ruan Sims for their presentation, and also to Gus Marshall, from NRL WA, for providing our school with this opportunity.
