Early Childhood covers the years from Kindergarten, when children are first introduced into the school, through to Year 2, when they are ready to become “big kids”.
In Kindergarten we focus on developing social, emotional as well as literacy and numeracy skills, whilst embedding a positive attitude towards learning. Our program is process rather than product based and encourages creative and individual learners.
In Pre-primary, we foster creativity, resiliency, inquiry and curiosity in a safe and supportive learning environment. We aim to develop a foundation for future success in learning and life. We want the first year of schooling to be joyful and enriching for all students and their families.
North Perth Primary aims to make the transition into Year 1 a positive experience. Our programs consider each student’s needs, including their intellectual, social, physical and emotional development.
Our Year 2 classes aim to provide a safe, fun and inclusive learning environment that focuses and extends the learning opportunities for all students.
