LOTE

At North Perth Primary School part of our LOTE program is French.

French is taught to students from Year Three through to Year Seven for 60 minutes per week by our specialist teacher, Mademoiselle Lauren McGrath.

The students will learn the language through a variety of themes each year and will be engaged through the use of games, music, role-plays and many other fun activities.

The major aims of this learning area are to develop cultural understandings whilst acquiring the basic skills of French including listening and responding in the target language, speaking, reading and writing to extend the performance of all students.
